You’re Gonna Flip Over This!

A new teen literary magazine debuts this week for Central Ohio. Talented young writers from the Greater Columbus area have put their original writings of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, articles and artwork into Flip the Page. This literary magazine is a collaboration between Thurber House and local writer and arts educator Kelli Trinoskey. In its first year, Flip the Page received over 70 submissions from young writers 13-19 years old. Twenty-six writings and three illustrations are featured in the magazine.
Fifteen of the twenty-six young authors featured in the magazine, will read their work during the Columbus Arts Festival on the Poetry Stage today, June 5 at 7 pm. An open mic reception at Thurber Center will follow the reading.
Flip the Page will be on sale for $5.00 at the Columbus Arts Festival during the reading. Thurber Country Bookstore and Cover To Cover Bookstore will carry the magazine this summer for $5.00.
