The hilarious Ohio native, Christopher Moore, is our next featured author at Thurber House. Author of 12 novels including international bestsellers, Lamb, A Dirty Job, and You Suck, Moore joins us on April Fools Day to share his riotous wit. Be prepared to laugh yourself silly.
Moore’s latest book, Bite Me: A Love Story, is the last in his vampire trilogy. Abigail Von Normal is the non-perky teen queen of the San Francisco night scene, and the minion to vampires Countess Jody and the Dark Lord Flood. The enormous vampire cat, Chet, is on the loose and hungry for human blood. Abigail, and her team of cat vampire slayers, including her manga-haired love monkey, Foo Dog, Countess Jody, and the Dark Lord Flood, must hunt down Chet before he satiates his bloody appetite.
A zany story about vampires in love, this is anything but Twilight.
Moore will be reading on April 1st at 7:30 p.m. at the Columbus Performing Arts Center, 549 Franklin Avenue. Tickets are available online at www.thurberhouse.org, or call 614-464-1032 x11.
