
Upcoming Evenings With Authors Event: Chris Cleave

Chris Cleave’s debut novel, Incendiary, won a 2006 Somerset Maugham Award and was shortlisted for the 2006 Commonwealth Writers’ Prize. His second novel, Little Bee, is a #1 New York Times besteller with over 2 million copies in print. He lives in London, England.
Cleave’s newest novel, Gold, tells the story of two women competing in the high-speed sport of track cycling. These women must decide what is more important: their friendship, or winning an Olympic gold medal.

The event is on Thursday, October 4, at 7:30 p.m., and will be held at the Columbus Museum of Art, 480 E. Broad Street. A book signing and an informal coffee and cookie reception will follow the reading. Tickets are $20 general admission in advance, with discounts for students and seniors.
